Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel room was spacious and spotlessly clean, but the location was marred by noise from rowdy guests at the bar. The staff were outstanding in their service, notwithstanding some disturbances from maintenance activities. The convenient location near Blarney Castle and easy bus access to Cork city was a major plus. The dining experience was generally lovely, although additional charges for some items were disappointing. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few hiccups.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a bit more character than newer ones. The staff was helpful, but there were some disturbances with noise. The location is superb for visiting Blarney Castle and the village, but dining options had some shortcomings.
The hotel is in a great location, beside Blarney Castle, with live music and a good buzz around the area. The rooms were comfortable, although a little stuffy. The staff were really friendly and happy to assist with anything needed. The dining experience was great, with a tasty selection on the menu and various options available. The facilities were superb, with beautifully decorated surroundings and lots of lovely seating.
The hotel had a great location, with lovely pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable but a bit dark, with a firmer mattress than we preferred. The service was mostly friendly and efficient, but there was a negative experience with rude behavior towards families. The dining experience varied from inattentive staff in a large cafe to delicious meals. The location was convenient, next to the Blarney Woollen Mill Shop and Castle.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms had a cozy canteen feeling, clean, and comfortable, with more character than some newer ones. The location was perfect for exploring the Blarney Castle grounds, though it felt a bit ordinary. The service was a mix of disinterested and warm, with the highlight being the staff at Blarney Woollen Mills. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some disappointments but also enjoyable moments.
